I'm a mediocre procrastinating disillusioned perfectionist with delusions of grandeur. I like ukulele, food, photography and social media marketing. My favourite colour is yellow.
I'm all over the internet:

New FiftyNinety song!
Last night I was enjoying a gin (or two) while writing… And came up with a wonderfully morose gin song. I’d only had two, but apparently it’s quite evident (to me at least) the kind of song that I write when drinking gin.
Tonight it’s ready for you to listen to…
There you go. One movie inspired song for your Sunday enjoyment, number 3 for 50/90 2013.

Anyone guess what movie it’s inspired by?
So… Still frustrated, but hoping someone might be able to help?
Song #2 is tentatively titled “Heartbreaker”. I have a ukulele-backing loop (listen here http://fiftyninety.fawmers.org/song/1792), and I have lyrics, but I don’t like the melodies.
How about her
That little heartbreaker
Starving on her own
Searching the room for
What’s on offer
Where her signals show
You’re flaunting some
That crimson devil’ll
Be gone by dawn
Her eyes’ll catch you
Oh how they’ll trap you
Waiting for their return
You’ll lose the moment
Damn the present
To soothe that craving burn
Hold on tightly
Here she comes
Your devil darling
Lose til dawn
Take my soul to keep
As I make my heavenly deal
Watch me all through the night
she’ll keep me safe til morning light
Heart breaker roll over
Yep. It’s finally time for 50/90 - the online challenge to write fifty songs in ninety days. Just for shits and giggles.
This afternoon, I wanted to write a song. So here I am, with a backing loop on my uke which I’m liking, lyrics which I’m happy enough with… and 3-4 melody ideas that are shithouse. Basically. I don’t like them.
